Wot can we say?--after great wins v 'uddersfeeeld and Bornley we were brought back doon to orth with a horrible display in "eest Landan" against The Jellied Eels Mob of West Ham!😨

We simply didnt get "oot the blocks" az the same team to take the field on Tuesday (v Bornley) started this game az well!

The home side took the lead in the 7th minute when Rice woz given a free header inside the 6 yard box!

West Ham pressed for a second goal and it came just before the break when they were awarded a dodgy lookin penalty, which Noble convorted!
Reely, we were hardly 'in it', with ventures into their box a rareity, with anly a few off target shots!

Saun Longstaff woz taken off at half time and woz later seen limpin, with a pair of crutches! (NOT a good sign!)😨---to be replaced by Mo Diame wearin' an eye plaster after bein' injured durin' the Bornley game!(By a Peter Crouch elbow!)

The 2nd period wasnt much better for NUFC az we attacked the goal where wor fans were behind!

Apart from a Rondon free kick near the end which woz tipped onto the post by Fabianski in the home goal, it wasnt to be wor day az we went doon to a 2-0 defeat!

The stats show that NUFC had 17 shots, many of them 'powder puff' and off target az mentioned above!

Quite a few Toon fans streamed away before the end, includin a Toon fan with a white stick!
Even the blind could see we wornt very good!😎

Luckily for us most of the teams aroond us lost az we stay 6 points above the dreaded drop zone, doon one place to 14th in the table with 9 games left! (4 home, 5 away)

To drown wor sorrows we heeded for Camden Town near King's Cross for the post match 'liquid lubrications'---and history woz made by 'The Geordie Times' az we visited wor HUNDRETH away pub of the season!!!
The Oxford Arms woz the place--- az we downed wor 'celebratory'? pints of 'Doom Bar'! <(because of the result!)
