This afternoon @ '4 bells' we face newly promoted Wolves @ St James' Park---and a win would propel us to 6 points above the drop zone after yesterdays results! (4 of the 6 teams below us, lost--- Bornley and Cardiff won)
We're not sure if Rafa will rotate the squad again, but with some tough games comin' up in the next month we reeely must get sommik oot of this game!
Schar iz suspended after reachin' 5 yellow cards and Hayden iz oot injured. Matt Richie retorns from suspension and both Dummett and Kenedy have returned to trainin'!
The Magpie Group have called off the planned boycott of the game because of takeower talks---but we 'fink' that not many would have took part anyway! (Certainly NOT me!)
NUFC v Wolves history lesson:
The 1st ever game between the 2 clubs took place ower 120 years ago in February 1898 @ St. James' Park, where Wolves won 4-2 in an old Division 1 game (Jock Pendle scored both NUFC's goals)---20,000 attended
The last time we met woz 20 months ago @ Molineux, where NUFC won 1-0 in a Championship game. Mitrovic scored the anly goal in front of 24,876
