Yet another shambolic display from NUFC and an unwanted record ‘to boot’, az this woz wor 16th home game in a row where we havvint kept a clean sheet!—A club record, gannin back to 1893 when we joined the Futbaall Leegue!
And just one shot on target in the 2nd half az well from defender Sven Botman
Wissa missed the target twice, when it looked easier to score!
Villa wornt very good eethaa, but they got the anly goal of the game at The Gallowgate End in the forst half through Manzani, who heeded home unmarked from close range in the 36th minute!
We divvint want gan into detail, but there seemed to be no cohesion and just ‘kick and hope’ futbaall, with players seamingly not knowing wot position to play, like tryin to put square pegs into round holes!?
The Toon were booed off at half time (not by The Geordie Times, az we have NEVER booed the team!)
The 2nd half woz az shambolic az the forst, and the final ‘square peg into a round hole’ came in the 90th minute, when defender Dan Burn woz sent on az a centre forward in a desperate attempt to salvage a point!
It, surprisingly DIDN’T work and we were booed off at full time az well!
Just where this leaves manager Matty Jaissle, iz anybody’s guess, but he will be the bookies favourite to be sacked before Xmas if this form continues!
It’s Crystal Palace away in south London next Sunday at ‘2 🔔’, with replacement buses for trains ower next weekend!—-Car and coach travel are a non starter for us these days! (Cannit wait!)
