Toneet 'The Toon' take on Northampton 'Toon' in the Leegue Cup 2nd roond @ St James' Park.
The tie which kicks off @ '7:45 bells' must be played to a conclusion with extra time and penalties if necessary! <(lets hope not!)
It will be very interestin' to see wot side 'Brollyman McClaren' will pick in wor quest to win a major trophy at last!

The tie haz riveted 'The Cobblers from Northampton' and they had sold a grand total of 989 tickets for The Leazes/ East Stand corner by last neet!
We expect a crowd of between 25,000 and 30,000 to torn up with the lower bowl just open toneet!
(The old 'current bun' haz made an appearance in the Tyneside sky, but it's a bit windy with a few clouds blowin' aboot az we speak, but at least it's not rainin'---yet!?)
