Tomorrow mornin' @ '9 bells' the Premya Leegue fixtures are released for the new season and yoo can rest assured that 'The Geordie Times' will have the complete list on line by dinnertime!

Of course---oot of the 38 fixtures aroond 30 will be probably be moved because of live telly or European involvement, so in a way, it's a complete waste of time printin' them az they are boond to be changed!
Neverthelessss!--we WILL print them in some kind of 'cryptic form' (to avoid copyright infringements!---we divvint want to be sued!) and we'll give yoo some clues to just who the teams are somewhere on the page!

At last!---- a'v finally finished the archive trip to Vicarage Road, Watford in 1984 (ground 73) when we ended up in 'The House of Horrors' in Loughborough, where we were given 'B&B' by a 'Rigsby' type character in a 'Bates Motel' type lodgin' hoose!
 Those of yoo who are of a norvous disposition shud take some tranquilisers before reeedin' it!

THE BLAYDON RACES 150th ANNIVERSARY TRAIN!

Wor very own Alan Shearer named a train 'BLAYDON RACES' @ Newcastle Central station this mornin' to commemorate the anniversary of this great song, written by Geordie Ridley in 1862 which iz of course the 'Geordie National Anthem'

Big Al said: "Blaydon Races is a much loved north east anthem, best known threw (er! sorry 'THROUGH!) it's association with Newcastle United Football Club who's fans have made it their own!
From my own playing days at St James' Park I know how inspiring the sound of 50,000 Geordies singing The Blaydon Races is!

The orliest pre season friendly game so far haz been annoonced and it's an Under 18s game between 'The Toon' and 'The Monkey Hangers of Hartlepool'.
The game will take place @ Little Benton on the mornin' of July 14th @ '11:00 bells' (Saturday) which by wor reckonin' iz just 44 days away!

We will be playin' 'The Bluebirds of Cardiff' in sooth Wales on Saturday August 11th @ '3 bells'
Tickets are priced at TWENTY 'dust bin lids' which iz exstorshanate<(the spell checkers gone 't*ts up'!) for a f*****' friendly against a Championship side!??---- and a ridiculous 'tenner' for schoolbairns! (divvint get killed in the stampede to get a ticket!)

Az far az we can gather the quoted pre season friendlies are az follows.

Participation in the Vodacom Challenge Tournament in Sooth Africa iz 'cast in stone' (supposedleee?) and we are due to play Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mazembe.

Aalso rumoured are friendlies away to Sportin' Lisbon and CARDIFF!? <(thought we wouldn't have to gan there az they lost in the 'play offs'!)

The resorves, meanwhile, are due to play away friendlies against Tyneside opposition in the shape of Gatesheed on Wednesday, August the forst and FA Vase winners Dunston UTS on a date to be conformed.

The Premier League campaign starts on August 18th and fixtures are due to be released on June 18th.

Wor European campaign will kick off on Thorsday 23rd August against 'god naaz who' in the forst leg off the Europa League group stage play offs, with the second leg takin' place a week later!
