THE BLYTH-TYNE FA CUP DERBY------THE HEEDBANGERS WIN!

At 3:00' bells' this afternoon the Spartans of Blyth took on the heedbangers of Gatesheed in the forst roond of the FA Cup @ Croft Park, Blyth and az there were ne premya leegue games tekin place because of yet anotha International break a canny good crowd waz antisipated.
The Heed won 2-0 to progress to the 2nd roond of the competition with their goals comin' from Shaw in the 14th minute and Cummins in the 54th minute in front of a very good crowd of 2,763 (ower 1,000 Gatesheedfans)
'The Geordie Times' however! WAZ hopin' to take in the Toon U18s game against Derby @ Benton, but we were 'runnin late' and didn't make it!
